HeusMt2 — Character Classes

The four Metin2 classes and their eight paths on HeusMt2: Warrior, Ninja, Sura, Shaman. Skills, who each class suits and a note that the class is permanent.

Metin2 Warrior, Ninja, Sura or Shaman: which one suits you? There is no short answer: the choice depends on how you like to play. The four cards below are here to compare exactly that.

HeusMt2 has four classes, and every class has two paths. Your class choice is permanent; your path, on the other hand, you choose inside the game. The skill names below come from the game's own English locale files.

Every class has a male and a female model, and every model has two appearance options. Appearance does not affect gameplay.

Warrior — in-game character view

Warrior

The tough close-combat class. It wears heavy armour, walks straight at the enemy and takes the blow. Only the Warrior can wield two-handed weapons; it can also use one-handed swords.

Body — speed and strikes in quick succession. Skills: Three-Way Cut · Sword Spin · Berserk · Aura of the Sword · Dash.

Mental — high damage in a single blow, and endurance. Skills: Spirit Strike (W) · Bash · Stump · Strong Body · Sword Strike.

The attacks of both paths are melee. The one exception is Sword Strike: the game describes it as a "Physical ranged attack".

Ninja — in-game character view

Ninja

The class of speed and accuracy. It wears light armour; it either closes in with a dagger or keeps its distance with a bow. Its two paths differ from each other more than those of any other class.

Blade (Melee combat) — close contact with dagger and twin daggers. Skills: Ambush · Fast Attack · Rolling Dagger · Stealth · Poisonous Cloud.

Arc (Distance fight) — ranged shots with the bow; the target range of its attack skills is 2500 units. Skills: Repetitive Shot · Arrow Shower · Fire Arrow · Feather Walk · Poison Arrow.

A class-specific advantage: Arrow Storm — the skill for shooting arrows from horseback exists only for the Ninja (from level 50).

Sura — in-game character view

Sura

The class where sword and magic meet. It wields a one-handed sword; the game has a separate sword family that only the Sura can use.

Weapon — strengthens the sword with magic and fights in melee. Skills: Finger Strike · Dragon Swirl · Enchanted Blade · Fear · Enchanted Armour · Dispel.

Magic — ranged magic damage. All six of its skills are of the magic type. Skills: Dark Strike · Flame Strike · Flame Spirit · Dark Protection · Spirit Strike (S) · Dark Orb.

The most flexible class on the server for players who cannot decide between melee combat and ranged magic.

Shaman — in-game character view

Shaman

The class that keeps the group on its feet. It wields bells and fans; all of its attack skills are of the magic type and work at range.

Dragon — damage and buffs. Skills: Flying Talisman · Shooting Dragon · Dragon's Roar · Blessing · Reflect · Dragon's Aid.

Healing — healing and support. Skills: Lightning Throw · Summon Lightning · Lightning Claw · Cure · Swiftness · Attack Up.

The game's own skill text describes Cure as "HP recovery, cures negative effects, area of effect". Every guild that forms a party looks for a Shaman.

How do skills develop?

Every skill has three mastery grades, and the game shows them under separate names: Master, Grand Master and Perfect Master. For example, the Warrior's Three-Way Cut skill is called Triple Cut at Master and Triple Slash at Grand Master — so it does not just get stronger, its name and effect change too.

Which class should I choose?

  • If you are playing for the first time: Warrior. Melee combat is simple, its armour is heavy, and it forgives mistakes.
  • If you like to play at range: the Ninja's Arc path or the Shaman. Both keep their distance.
  • If you will play in a group: Shaman. Healing and speed support are wanted in every party.
  • If you cannot decide: Sura. One path is melee combat, the other ranged magic — you can try both styles without changing class.

Your account has five character slots; even though the class choice is permanent, you can try more than one. The game shows character stats as STR (strength), DEX (dexterity), INT (intelligence) and HP (health).
