Terms of Use

Welcome to HeusMt2. By signing up for our server, using the site and playing, you are deemed to accept the terms below. If you do not accept them, you should not sign up or use the service. Please read carefully.

1. General

HeusMt2 is a community (private server) project run by an independent team; it is not an official Metin2 service. The service is provided "as is" and "as available"; no guarantee is given of uninterrupted or error-free operation, of no data loss or of any particular performance. The server may temporarily suspend the service, with or without prior notice, for maintenance, updates and technical needs.

2. Development stage and data resets

HeusMt2 is in development and the game is not yet open to players. You can already create your account. This means that you accept the following:

• During the development stage, all characters, items, Yang, guild and progress data may be partially or fully reset (wipe); at this stage these resets may be done more than once and without prior notice.
• A full reset may be done before the game opens to players. No commitment whatsoever is given that progress made during the development stage will be carried over to the opening.
• Bugs, balance issues and unexpected behaviour are normal during the development stage; there is no commitment to a time frame for fixing them.
• Resets, interruptions or data loss give rise to no claim for compensation, refund or redress.

3. Account

• To create an account you must be over 18, or sign up with the permission of your parent or legal guardian. The age declaration is taken as the basis; the person making a false declaration is responsible for its consequences.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when signing up and for the security of your account.
• Do not share your password or character deletion code with anyone. You are responsible for all actions carried out with your account.
• Using someone else's account without permission, or trying to take it over, is forbidden.
• Opening more than one account is allowed. However, using accounts in a coordinated way that upsets the game's balance (collecting the same reward again and again with many accounts, inflating event/voting systems, moving resources to yourself through trade) is against the fair-play rules.

4. Fair play

• Cheats, bots, speed/packet hacks, macros that give an unfair advantage, third-party programs or any tool that manipulates the game are strictly forbidden.
• Instead of abusing bugs in the game (bug/exploit), you are expected to report them to the management. Assets gained through bugs exploited without being reported may be taken back.
• Behaviour that breaks fair play may lead to sanctions without warning.

Referral and coupon rules

A referral code can only be entered during sign-up; an account can be referred at most once. For the referrer to receive the reward, at least 7 days must have passed since the referred account signed up, one of its characters must reach level 40 and the account's total play time must reach 480 minutes. Both accounts must be active. A referrer can earn the Kobra Saç Modeli hairstyle only once in their lifetime; the reward is sent to Item Shop Storeroom (Nesne Market Deposu).

Coupons are valid under the announced date, number of uses and, if any, account age requirement. Each account can use the same coupon only once. Coupons can only give Marka (a convenience currency earned through play) or campaign-specific items; they do not give EP (Ejderha Parası). If misuse of a coupon or referral right is detected, the coupon, the referral record or the reward may be cancelled. The items given are subject to the general game rules.

5. Code of conduct

• Be respectful to other players; insults, harassment, threats, racism and hate speech are forbidden.
• Spam, advertising, fraud and misleading posts are forbidden.
• Sharing illegal content and violating the rights of others is forbidden.
• Sharing other players' personal information without permission (doxxing) is forbidden.

6. In-game assets and real-money trading

• In-game characters, items and currency (Yang) belong to the server; what you have is a licence to use them, not a transfer of ownership, and they have no real-world value.
• Buying and selling for real money (RMT): HeusMt2 does not get involved in, does not act as an intermediary in and is not a party to transactions involving accounts, characters, items or Yang carried out between players outside the game in exchange for real money or anything with real-world value. These transactions are entirely at the parties' own risk: in case of fraud, loss of an account, assets taken back or a reset, no support is given and no redress is made. HeusMt2 has no partnership with any seller, site or intermediary; anyone who says they sell on our behalf is a fraudster. Advertising sales for real money (spam) in the game and on our official channels is forbidden and calls for a sanction. HeusMt2 does not recognise account transfers: an account is deemed to belong to the owner of the registered email address, and under article 14 a transfer gives rise to no right against us. Under article 3, the security of a transferred account and the actions carried out with it are the responsibility of the registered account holder.
• In-game trade between players is free; fraud and exploitation are forbidden. In disputes arising from trade between players, the server is not a party and is not obliged to make good any losses.
• The server reserves the right to make changes to items and data for reasons of balance, security or misuse.

7. Payments and donations

HeusMt2 does not currently run any payment channel: we do not ask you for money, we do not collect card details, and we have no authorised intermediary taking payments on our behalf. Anyone who asks for money, crypto assets or gift cards on our behalf is a fraudster; please verify at iletisim@heusmt2.com before paying. If a support/shop channel opens in the future, this article will be updated and its terms announced here.

8. Sanctions and appeals

If these terms are violated, the HeusMt2 management may apply the measures it deems necessary, including a warning, temporary suspension, permanent ban, taking back in-game assets or closing the account, without prior notice. You can send your appeal against a sanction to iletisim@heusmt2.com; appeals are assessed within a reasonable time and you are informed of the result. The sanction tiers are on the Game Rules page.

9. Personal data

The information needed for sign-up is used only for managing and securing your account; it is not shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes. All the details, including which data is processed for what purpose and for how long, transfer abroad and how to exercise your rights, are on the KVKK Privacy Notice and Privacy Policy pages. You can always request the deletion of your account; the steps are on the Account Deletion page. When the account is deleted, no refund is given for the EP (Ejderha Parası), Marka and all other balances on the account or for items not yet collected.

10. Disclaimer and termination of the service

• HeusMt2 cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damages that may arise from loss of in-game progress, items or data, service interruptions, attacks by third parties or players' behaviour. Participation is entirely voluntary and at your own responsibility.
• The service is not indefinite. For technical, legal, financial or personal reasons, the project may be ended temporarily or permanently. In such a case, no right to compensation, refund, transfer or migration arises for any in-game asset. We try to announce this in advance as far as possible, but this is not a commitment.
• Cases where mandatory rules of law do not allow liability to be limited are reserved; the limitations in this article apply only to the extent the law allows.

11. Intellectual property and notices from rights holders

The rights to the name "Metin2" and to all brand, visual, sound, text and software elements of the game belong to their owners; HeusMt2 has no connection, partnership or endorsement with these rights holders. The original text and design elements on the site that belong to HeusMt2 belong to HeusMt2.

Notice from rights holders: rights holders who believe that we infringe their rights on this site or server can write to iletisim@heusmt2.com, stating the infringement and its basis. Following notices found to be justified, the content concerned is removed without delay; we prefer to resolve the request without going to court or filing a complaint.

12. Third-party links

The site may contain links to third parties such as social media and community platforms. HeusMt2 is not responsible for the content, terms of use or privacy practices of these platforms; the data you share there is subject to the rules of the platform concerned.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Turkey. The courts and enforcement offices of the Republic of Turkey have jurisdiction to resolve disputes. Users who are consumers retain the right to apply to the consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts where they reside.

14. Severability and assignment

If any provision of these terms is held invalid or unenforceable, this does not affect the validity of the other provisions; the invalid provision is deemed replaced by the valid provision closest to its purpose. You may not assign your rights and obligations arising from these terms to third parties without HeusMt2's written consent.

15. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published on this page and the date at the top is updated. For substantial changes (for example changes that introduce new obligations or narrow your rights), an announcement is made in advance on the site and in the community channels. Continuing to play after the announcement means that you accept the current terms.
