How do I verify it?

Security

We will never ask you to turn off your antivirus.

A new or rarely downloaded game file can trigger a warning simply because security software does not know it. A warning alone does not prove that the file is harmful, but do not run the file until you have confirmed that it came from this page and that its checksum matches.

Download the client only from the link on this page. If any step asks you to switch off your security software, that step does not come from us.

Verify your file

The SHA-256 checksum of the file you downloaded must be exactly the same as the value on this page.

Open Command Prompt or PowerShell in the folder that holds the file you downloaded.
Run one of the commands below, replacing the word file with the name of your file.In Command Prompt

certutil -hashfile file SHA256
```
In PowerShell
```
Get-FileHash file -Algorithm SHA256
```
Compare the result with the SHA-256 checksum on this page. If this page shows no checksum, do not run the file.

If the values do not match, delete the file and tell us. Support

Login and connection problems

I cannot log in. What should I do?

First try to log in on this site with the same username and password; if that works, your account is fine. If you forgot your password, use the password reset page. Forgot password

I cannot connect to the game.

When the game is taken down for maintenance, the status badge at the top of the site says Under maintenance. If the badge shows no maintenance, check your connection and firewall; if the problem continues, write to us from the support page. Support

Windows blocked the file or showed a warning.

Compare the SHA-256 checksum of the file with the value above; if they do not match, do not run the file. Even if they match, do not turn off your security software to get past a warning.
