Our Promises

What kept the legendary heus standing was the trust between the server and its players. HeusMt2 is built on that same trust, and it puts its promises in writing. Every promise below applies to everyone: friends, guilds and wallets make no difference. We stand behind what we write.

The game's promise

Your effort, your character and your market belong to you.

1. No wipe: your effort is permanent

   HeusMt2 is not a seasonal server. Your character, your items and every hour you put in are permanent; the server is never reset.

2. Costumes give no power

   Costumes are purely cosmetic: no costume carries attack, defence or bonuses. Sashes and auras, which did carry power, have been removed from the game entirely.

3. No paid auto-hunt time

   No one gets extra auto-hunt time for money. The rule is the same for everyone.

4. The market belongs to the players

   We stay out of trade between players: you set the prices and you run the market. Fraud and abuse remain forbidden.

Authority exists to protect the game, not to win it.

1. Staff do not compete

   Staff characters do not enter tournaments and do not appear in the rankings. The top belongs to the players.

2. No favouritism

   Friends, guilds or streamers make no difference. The rules and the rewards are the same for everyone.

3. No staff-made items

   No special item created with a staff command, one that cannot be obtained in the game through hunting, quests or crafting, is ever sold or given to anyone.

4. Same rules for everyone

   Whatever rule applies to a player applies to the staff too. There is no separate penalty scale for team members.

5. We will never ask for your password

   No staff member will ever ask for your password or your character deletion code. Anyone who does is not one of us.

Neither penalties nor changes are kept in the dark.

1. Penalties are written down

   Which sanction applies to which behaviour is public. You can look up your own penalty and appeal to have the decision reviewed.

2. No silent changes

   Changes that substantially affect the game are announced in advance, and the changes that are made are recorded in the patch notes.

3. Your data is not for sale

   Your personal data is never sold to third parties or shared for marketing.

   Creating an account, downloading the game and playing it are free. No one asks for money at the door.

Our promise against cheating: Heus Shield

The rules of the game are enforced by the server, not by the client. Heus Shield checks every step, every hit and every skill on the server, and re-scans the economy and bot traces every day. There is no place on HeusMt2 for cheaters or bot users.
